Cybersecurity

Cybersecurity for Canadian businesses

Two things EnterProtect runs for you: continuous scanning of what you expose, and immutable storage for the copies you would need if something got through.

What this covers

EnterProtect approaches cybersecurity as two questions we can answer for you continuously. The first is what you are running and which of it is exposed — that is vulnerability scanning, which enumerates your systems, checks them against known weaknesses, and ranks what it finds so the queue is workable rather than exhaustive. The second is whether you could get your data back — that is Vault, which keeps copies in storage that is immutable and whose access is separated from the environment it protects, so a compromise of one is not a compromise of the other. The pages below cover each in detail.

Where to start

Common questions

What is the difference between vulnerability scanning and a penetration test?

They are scoped differently. A scan runs continuously and broadly: it enumerates known weaknesses across the systems you run and tracks whether they get fixed. A penetration test is periodic and narrow: a person attempts to chain weaknesses into an intrusion. EnterProtect provides the scanning side.

Where does backup fit alongside scanning?

They cover different points in time. Scanning is about reducing exposure beforehand; a recoverable copy is about what your options are afterwards. Vault is designed so that access to the copies is separate from access to the environment they protect.

How quickly can we start?

Scanning can be pointed at your external surface without a deployment. Book a walkthrough and bring a real scenario — you keep the output whether or not you continue.

See it against your own environment

We will run the scan and the restore, and you keep the evidence it produces.
