Compare MSP Backup Vendors on the Fine Print

EnterProtect compares itself with Cove Data Protection and Datto on the facts MSPs check: pricing model, contract terms, hardware, verification and retention. Every row is sourced and dated, including where they're stronger.

How These Comparisons Work

Every backup vendor's site says verified, unlimited and month to month. You find out what those words mean at renewal, or in the middle of a restore. So these pages compare the fine print, and hold EnterProtect to the same rules.

Facts, Not Adjectives

Every row is a number, a term or a capability you can check. Anything that reads as an opinion stays out of the table.

Every Row Sourced and Dated

Each row links the vendor's own pricing page, documentation or help article, and shows the date it was checked.

Where They're Stronger

Each comparison has a section on where the other vendor wins, from Azure recovery to round-the-clock support. You'd hear it on their sales call anyway.

List Prices Only

Cove and Datto quote privately, so no partner rate appears here, theirs or ours. Our list prices are public, and your rate card comes once we've confirmed you're an MSP.

Comparison Questions

Which backup vendors does EnterProtect compare itself with?

Cove Data Protection and Datto, each on its own page, across Microsoft 365 Backup, BCDR and File Backup.

Where do the facts come from?

From each vendor's own pricing pages, documentation and help articles, and from integration notes published by tools MSPs use. Every row links its source and shows the date it was checked.

Why don't you show Cove's or Datto's prices?

Neither publishes a list price, and partner rates are private. So these pages show list prices only, ours included. MSPs buy EnterProtect below list and see their rate card once we've confirmed they're an MSP.

Do the comparisons say where EnterProtect loses?

Yes. Each page has a section on where the other vendor is stronger, from Azure recovery and archive mailboxes to retention after you cancel and round-the-clock support.

Can I move my clients' existing backups to EnterProtect?

No. EnterProtect can't import another vendor's backups, so each client's history starts at its first EnterProtect capture. Each comparison says how long the other vendor keeps data after you leave, so you can plan each move around it.

What if a fact here is out of date?

Tell us on the corrections page. Every row shows the date it was last checked, so you can see how fresh it is.

Our Fine Print Is Four Lines Long

Comparing is the easy part. Here's what EnterProtect puts in writing, so the comparison still holds at renewal.

Commitments in Writing

  • When a client leaves, so does its bill.
  • No contract and nothing to renew. A price change only applies going forward.
  • Every MSP gets the same rate card at the same volume.
  • A missed payment pauses service. It never shortens an immutable copy.
